Meet the Doctor
Carlos Almaguer, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Carlos Almaguer is an experienced, gentle, talented
physician. He has been treating women’s health issues for many
years, following his graduation from the University of Texas
Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Alamguer’s internship and
residency were in obstetrics and gynecology, his chosen field
where he excels at providing his patients with compassionate,
comprehensive medical care.
Fully bilingual in English
and Spanish, Dr. Almaguer is a native Texan. In 1996, he founded
the Women’s Specialists of McAllen, where his practice treats a
wide range of female health issues, ranging from preventative
yearly exams – called well woman exams – to infertility and
pregnancies.
Dr. Almaguer believes in treating each
patient like the individual that they are. He takes his time,
getting to know each of the women he treats, listening to and
answering their concerns, and providing them with the relevant
information and options they need to know about in order to make
informed decisions about their medical care. He will do the same
for you.
