About Our Practice
Founded by
Dr. Carlos Almaguer in 1996, the
Women’s Specialists of McAllen specializes in treating women’s health
issues in a knowledgeable and compassionate environment. We offer an
unparalleled balance between patient comfort and state-of-the-art
medical treatment, always striving to ensure that our patients have the
information they need to make educated, intelligent decisions about
their medical care.
In addition to offering well woman and annual exams, we also provide
physicals for employment and school and we offer comprehensive prenatal
care of low and high risk pregnancies. We work with our patients – with
you – to provide excellent women’s health care at affordable prices.

Billing Information
For services provided at our facility, our billing personnel will submit a claim to your insurance. For any service deemed your responsibility per your co-payments, deductible and coinsurance is collected at the time service is rendered.
For your convenience, financial plans are created for procedures and maternity care that fit your type of health plan coverage. We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, care credit, and debit cards.
We accept most insurance, Medicare and Medicaid.
